ELECTRONICS DUMPSTER DAY

On Saturday June 2nd there will be what is called an Electronics Dumpster Day.  Residents of Reisterstown, Owings Mills & Glyndon can bring their old electronic items and dispose of them locally on this one morning.  This event is from 8:00am til 12 noon in the back parking lot area behind MARS Food Store in the Reisterstown Shopping Center.  The community associations of Country Club Estates & Chartley have teamed up to put on this event for all.  CDM eCycling, Inc. will be the actual disposal company that will collect the items.  There is no charge to dispose of general electronics other then TV’s.  There is a disposal fee of $5 per TV.  If the TV is of the older type within a wood cabinet the fee is $10.  There is no charge to dispose of flat screen TV’s or old computer monitors and other computer related items.

Almost any item that has a plug is accepted.  If you have questions as to what is acceptable please call to clarify.  Organizers reserve the right to inspect and/or reject items that may not be acceptable by CDM eCycling, Inc.  An example of such items would be refrigerators or air conditioning units that still do not have the hazardous liquids properly removed.   No light bulbs of any kind.  This event if for electronic items only.  Event contact is Mark Hemler 410-299-7517 or Dave Powers 410-833-3734.  There is a printable flyer on the CCECA website with all the details and contact information needed.
