The “Saintathon” is one of two main fundraisers held annually for Saints Special hockey. All proceeds raised are applied directly to purchase of ice time and equipment for the growing program, which has expanded to run three weekly hour long sessions for players. It will also help fund expenses for The Baltimore Saints participation in the Jamestown NY Special Hockey tournament, scheduled for later this March.
Baltimore Area Special Hockey, also known as the Baltimore Saints, provides weekly hockey training and playing opportunities for more than 100 children and adults with intellectual disabilities five years of age and older.
