Jewish Community Services (JCS) invites the community to an Open House on Sunday, May 20, at its new Baltimore County offices in the Rosenbloom Owings Mills Jewish Community Center, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Visitors will be welcomed by JCS staff, and they can take a tour of the new offices and pick up a special giveaway.
The JCS offices occupy one floor in the new two story addition to the Owings Mills JCC, accessible from the entrance on the main level of the facility.
JCS professionals provide counseling for adults, children and families; career services; assistance for seniors and caregivers, and much more at the new Owings Mills offices. JCS continues to provide services at its Park Heights and Howard County offices.

According to Barbara Levy Gradet, LCSW, Executive Director of JCS, “Our expanded space enables JCS to offer its complete array of human services in a convenient and comfortable location in Baltimore County. We look forward to deepening our JCS-JCC partnership as we work together to enhance the health and well-being of our entire community.” “Having JCS services available on site at the JCC in Owings Mills is an incredible opportunity,” said Louis “Buddy” Sapolsky, JCC President.
Funding for the expansion came from private donors and a state bond bill through the support of the 11th District delegation of Senator Bobby Zirkin and Delegates Dan Morhaim, Jon Cardin and Dana Stein.
