The Kiwanis Club of
Reisterstown is hosting a "SAFE SITTER" Class. This is in conjunction with St.
Joseph Medical Center. The class will be held at the Dale Chambers Community
Youth Center of the Reisterstown United Methodist Church. The Center is located
at 308 Main Street in
Reisterstown (immediately south of the Reisterstown United Methodist
Church. A fee of $25.00 will cover the one day program held on August 9, 2012.
Time is 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm. To register your son or daughter or your
babysitter, call Bob McNeish at 410-833-0558. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED, SO CALL
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to guarantee a spot in our Summer
Session.
Safe Sitter is a medically
accurate instruction series that teaches boys and girls aged 12 to 14 how to
handle emergencies when caring for your children. Safe sitters learn basic
Life-saving techniques, Safety precautions to prevent accidents, CPR, how and
when to summon help and tips on basic child care. The Kiwanis Club of
Reisterstown is proud to be involved with Safe Sitters. We feel the Best Baby
Sitters are Safe Sitters!
