The Semi-Colon Club, a Baltimore area nonprofit organization founded by two-time colon cancer survivor and Reisterstown resident Edel Blumberg to promote awareness of colon cancer, will host its fourth annual Semi-Colon Crawl at Hannah More Park Athletic Fields on Sept. 30. The event will feature a 5k walk, fun and food, as well as an opportunity to help increase outreach and awareness of the second most deadly form of cancer.
The Semi-Colon Club works to bring colon cancer to the forefront of American conscience and to act as an advocate for prevention, treatment and recovery.This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of Sarah Rupp who passed away in January, at the age of 32, due to colon cancer.
