Come out to see radio plays from the 1940s revived in Reisterstown! For $10 per ticket, you will get two productions styled as 1940 radio plays: Sorry, Wrong Number and The Shop Around the Corner. Information on each play is below:
Sorry, Wrong Number: A woman accidentally overhears a conversation about a future murder when phone lines get crossed. She strives frantically to prevent it from happening but no one seems willing to help her. Sorry, Wrong Number ranks right behind War of the Worlds as one of the most memorable single broadcasts of all time!
The Shop Around the Corner: Klara and Martin are competing salespeople who cannot stand to be around each other. Regardless of the witty putdowns the two exchange, we learn that Martin and Klara have more in common than they think. This story is based on the 1940s movie starring James Stewart and Margaret Sullivan. It was remade in 1998 as You’ve Got Mail, starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
