Free discussion and tea with Becca Stevens, author and priest promoting social change.

The event will be May 9 at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
St. John’s Episcopal Church is pleased to host an evening with Becca Stevens and friends for discussion about human trafficking, helping women escape the destructive cycle of prostitution and violence, and Becca’s new initiative promoting the sale and purchase of goods worldwide that are produced by workers who are treated fairly.
The event will include tea produced through fair trade practices that will be enjoyed by participants.

Becca Stevens, priest, author, and founder of Magdalene, is one of the premiere theological speakers in the United States proclaiming love as the most powerful force for social change.
