Fatal Hit And Run Off Security Boulevard Under Investigation

Police have asked for information about a deadly crash on Security Boulevard that happened this week, involving a dark colored sedan.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Authorities are asking for help locating a dark sedan that was involved in a deadly hit and run near Windsor Mill this week. A 24-year-old woman was killed in the crash as she tried to cross Security Boulevard, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Mariam Idowu Adeleke, 24, of the unit block of Brubar Court, had been walking when she was hit by the dark sedan, then thrown toward an SUV, officials said.

The crash occurred on Security Boulevard at Lord Baltimore Drive after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, according to police.

Both vehicles were headed west on Security Boulevard at the time of the collisions, officials said. Only the 2005 Acura MDX remained at the scene, police said, while the car drove off. It was described as a dark-colored sedan.

Adeleke was taken to a local hospital, where police said she was pronounced deceased at 10:40 p.m.
