Flames Through Roof At Townhouses Near Glyndon: Officials

Multiple townhouses were damaged Wednesday near Reisterstown, Baltimore County officials report.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — Crews battled a townhouse fire in the Glyndon area Wednesday afternoon that involved multiple residences, according to officials. When first responders arrived, they said flames were through the roof at two townhomes.

At 11:41 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 300 block of Town Green Way. First, they started working inside the building to put the fire out; minutes later, they had to evacuate due to conditions and were battling the blaze from the exterior, as the two townhouses were engulfed in flames.

At 12:16 p.m., Baltimore County public safety officials said that the fire had been knocked.

Three buildings were impacted, according to authorities, who said no injuries were reported.

After 1 p.m., officials said that extensive overhaul was required, and the cleanup was continuing.
