The Franklin High School girl's basketball team beat C. Milton Wright 56 -37 on Saturday.
Sophomore forwards Ariana Foote (13 points) and MiQuera Lewis (12) combined for 25 points as Franklin (12-11) separated from C. Milton Wright in the second half after leading just 22-16 at halftime. The Indians led 14-3 at the end of the first quarter, but were outscored 13-2 in the second before bouncing back after halftime.
“We came back focused in the second half,” Franklin coach Denikwa James said. “And I think we have a great chance of going further in the playoffs. I just hope the intensity level continues to stay high.”
