Friday Status for Baltimore County Public Schools

It’s another snow day for students in Baltimore County on Friday, March 6.

“Due to inclement weather, schools and offices will once again be closed,” according to Baltimore County Public Schools.

Students were also off Thursday due to the impending snowstorm.

By Thursday evening, more than 7 inches of snow had been reported in multiple parts of Baltimore County, from Reisterstown to Hereford to Oella to Towson, according to preliminary information from the National Weather Service.

For Friday, drivers should be aware that with rain that preceded the snowfall and below-freezing temps in the forecast: “...roads could be icy in the morning,” State Highway Administrator Melinda Peters said.
