Gun Chase in Reisterstown, Clothing Stolen in Owings Mills: Crime Blotter

Drunken prowler, group robbed on steps, choking and other crimes were reported recently in Owings Mills and Reisterstown, police say.

OWINGS MILLS & REISTERSTOWN, MD —The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the Franklin precinct.

A man was held up at gunpoint on Reisterstown Road in the area of Caraway Road. When several people approached him at 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 26, one of the suspects pointed a gun and demanded all of the victim's belongings. The victim, who had a knife, pulled out his weapon. The suspect with the gun proceeded to chase him. Nothing was taken from the victim in the robbery attempt.

Three strangers assaulted someone and took the victim's clothing in the 100 block of Painters Mill Road. The assault and robbery occurred before 10 a.m. on Sept. 23.

A stranger took a TV and other items from an apartment in the 100 block of Caraway Road. The burglary happened sometime between Sept. 21 and 24.

A person was choked by someone familiar in the 200 block of River Way. The assault occurred between 7 and 8:02 a.m. on Sept. 20.

A stranger pulled a gun on someone on Lower Mill Drive at White Cedar Drive. The victim ran to an apartment and called 911 at 3:20 a.m. on Sept. 14.

A window was broken at a residence in the 11900 block of Tarragon Road. The would-be burglar(s) did not get inside during the attempt, which happened sometime between 7:50 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Sept. 12.

An intoxicated person who knocked on the front door of a residence in the unit block of Timber Grove Road was taken into custody after he went around to the back door and pulled on it around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 5.

Jewelry and purses were stolen from the unit block of Milkwood Court, where property was also destroyed. The residential burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 4.

Two suspects robbed multiple people sitting on the steps in the unit block of Straw Hat Road. One suspect showed a gun, while the second suspect took cell phones, jewelry and cash from the victims. The robbery happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 4.

A business was burglarized in the 13000 block of Old Hanover Road. The suspect(s) took tools from the establishment sometime between Sept. 3 and 6.
