Soldier Killed In Crash Outside Maryland National Guard Base
The deadly collision near Reisterstown Tuesday involved three vehicles, two of which were trucks.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a woman died after a crash that sandwiched her car between two commercial vehicles Tuesday morning near Reisterstown. Due to the crash, MD 30/Hanover Pike was shut down for hours.
The victim was a member of the Maryland National Guard.
Dinora Aracely Flores, 33, of the unit block of Valley Park Court in Damascus, was identified as the deceased, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Flores was in the left turn lane on MD 30/Hanover Pike north at Rue Saint Lo Drive around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, when police said a flatbed truck rear-ended her 2013 Ford Fusion.
The truck pushed her car into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer truck that was going south on MD 30 into the intersection, according to police.

Flores was taken to Sinai Hospital, where officials said she died around 11 a.m.
The crash occurred 0.3 mile from Camp Frettard Military Reservation, which is located on Rue Saint Lo Drive, where she worked full-time as a non-commissioned officer for the Recruiting and Retention Battalion. She joined the National Guard in 2009, the agency said in a statement.
"The loss of one of our own is always very difficult, and little can be said to ease the pain," Maryland National Guard Major General Linda L. Singh said in a statement, "but we must remember Staff Sgt. Flores' dedication to our nation and state and honor her service."
MD 30/Hanover Pike was closed at Rue Saint Lo Drive until about 12:45 p.m., according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Previous Report: A crash on MD 30/Hanover Pike closed the road near Reisterstown for about five hours on Tuesday morning, officials said. The collision shut down Route 30 at Rue Saint Lo Drive at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
By 12:45 p.m., state highway officials reported the road had reopened.
The crash, which resulted in a fuel spill and injuries, involved a tractor-trailer and flatbed truck, according to WBAL Radio.
Due to the incident, there were major delays Tuesday morning around MD 30 and feeder routes.
