The Harbour School was named as a Baltimore Sun Top Workplace for the second time.

Staff at both campuses answered an online survey and results were announced at a reception at the Lord Baltimore Hotel. The Harbour School staff clearly showed their love for their jobs. As one employee wrote, “I LOVE my colleagues and I LOVE the students. I feel completely supported by the entire administrative team. They are extremely helpful in difficult situations and are always willing to provide advice and feedback.” (The Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Top Work Places 2014)

The school, which serves over 300 students and has 178 staff, is #4 out of 20 on the list of mid size employers. Most notably, they received a special honor for insightful leadership. Dr. Linda Jacobs, Executive Director proudly accepted the award on behalf of the school. The Sun cited The Harbour School as having “Clued-In Senior Management.” They say, “Senior Managers understand what is really happening at this company.”

The Harbour School is a nonpublic school serving students ages 6-21. Students at the school have been diagnosed as having learning disabilities, high functioning autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, other health impaired (primarily ADHD) and multi-disabled.
