Head-On Crash Killed One, Injured Another in Owings Mills: Police
Two vehicles were involved in a fatal weekend crash on McDonogh Road, Baltimore County police reported; cause remains under investigation.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — A man was killed after his Subaru Forester was involved in a head-on collision on McDonogh Road, police reported.
Matthew James Reardon, 26, of the 4000 block of Ashforth Way in Owings Mills, was headed west at approximately 1:45 p.m. Saturday when his car crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on in the 8600 block of McDonogh Road, according to police. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company, which responded to the fatal crash, said the individual was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

The Baltimore County Police Department reported that its crash team was investigating the cause of the collision.
