The practice of The Great Mother, taught by Buddha, is a powerful method to avert and overcome all our hindrances and obstacles, both to worldly happiness and to the attainment of liberation from suffering. In this retreat we will understand what are our outer and inner obstacles, gain more understanding of the way things actually exist, and become familiar with this practice so we can overcome the obstacles in our own daily lives.
Location: KMC Maryland, 900 East Northern Parkway, Baltimore, MD 21212
Cost: Full Day Cost: $40/$35 for students, seniors 60 plus, and unemployed.- Includes Lunch
Half Day Cost: $25/$20- Doesn’t include Lunch, but you can purchase lunch in our World Peace Café.

About the Teacher: Kelsang Kalden is an American Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Keajra Kadampa Buddhist Center. She has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance and direction of renowned teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradtion, for many years. She is known for her loving kindness, sincere dedication to serving others, and for her boundless energy and good humor.
