Herbert C. Bertsch, 93, of Reisterstown; World War II Veteran

Herbert Consolvo Bertsch, 93, of Reisterstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, at his home.
Born Dec. 7, 1921, in Reisterstown, he was the son of the late Charles F. Bertsch and Anna M. Pfab Bertsch. He was predeceased by his two wives, Jean Cunningham Bertsch and Helen C. Meyers Bertsch.
He served honorably in World War II with the U.S. Army. He was a retired member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 486. He was a member of American Legion Reisterstown Post 116, a life member of V.F.W. Owings Mills Post 521, the Fourth District Democratic Club, the Bucs Club, the Reisterstown Moose Lodge 1577, R.O.M. Optimist Club, and the Beaver Run Fish and Game Club.

Surviving are his children: Jeanne Bertsch, Jay Bertsch, Sharon Aponte and Bridget Reynard. Also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son Herbie Bertsch.

Friends may call on Sunday, Aug. 23, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, where prayers will be said on Monday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m.
Interment in Lorraine Park Cemetery.
