Homeowner Extinguishes Fire Near Owings Mills, Officials Say
Within about 10 minutes of arriving in the Owings Mills area, fire officials said they were clearing the scene.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — A homeowner extinguished a residential fire in Owings Mills Monday night, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Officials said a caller alerted emergency personnel that the side of a house in the 2300 block of Velvet Ridge Road was on fire at 10:51 p.m. Monday, July 1.
Shortly after 11 p.m., the fire department reported that crews were clearing the scene, as the fire had been extinguished by the homeowner.
