House Fire In Owings Mills Draws Emergency Personnel: Officials

Fire broke out at a home on Lyons Mill Road, according to authorities.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Firefighters battled a house fire in Owings Mills Saturday evening. Crews remained at the location for about two hours, the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company reported.

Officials were dispatched to the 9800 block of Lyons Mill Road at 6:03 p.m., according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Smoke and fire were showing from the single-family home, where the fire was primarily on the right side of the residence, the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company reported. Its crew went to the second floor to extinguish the blaze.

Authorities said everyone was out of the home as of approximately 6:15 p.m.

The Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department assisted with the response to the house fire as well.
