Ice Pushes Back Liberty Reservoir Opening
Baltimore officials announced the delay this week.
Boating season at Liberty and Prettyboy Reservoirs will have to wait this spring, according to Baltimore City Public Works officials.
The city announced this week that ice accumulation will delay the start of the boating season, which normally begins there March 1 and runs until Dec. 31.
This year, the season will not begin March 1.
