Randallstown Woman Named Associate Executive Director of Charlestown

Erickson Living has named Randallstown resident Jangar Richards an Associate Executive Director of Charlestown retirement community in Catonsville. Richards will assist in the facilitation and coordination of various teams of management, and will provide vision and leadership to ensure Charlestown achieves its objectives for quality care and services, financial viability, resident relations, and staff development.

Richards has more than 15 years of experience in various roles in healthcare and hospital operations, managed care, consulting, project management and strategic planning. As a proven hospital operations leader with numerous achievements, she has had a career distinguished by commended performance and proven results. Her areas of professional focus have included general management and operations, patient experience initiatives, business development and strategic planning.

She has successfully provided leadership to multi-disciplinary teams with diverse backgrounds, facilitated and led various cross functional committees, developed initiatives and processes for operational efficiency, and developed programs focused on a seamless patient experience.

Richards recently served as Director of Operations with Johns Hopkins Medicine International Patient Services since 2006. Prior to 2006, she worked with Johns Hopkins Hospital, New York University Hospital and Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of New York.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Health Services Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
