During their spring break, over 50 Jemicy Upper School students embarked on 2-week journey to South Africa to acquire hands-on knowledge of the culture, history, geography, economy, politics, and daily life of the people. The journey took them to Kruger National Park and Rhino & Lion Nature Preserve, which offered unparalleled opportunities to observe the animal kingdom. Other highlights included: Gold Reef City; the the Apartheid Museum; a Zulu village; and the Ohlange Institute.
