JEMICY UPPER SCHOOL STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT MAPLE SUGARING

Jemicy biology students traveled to Irvine Nature Center to learn about Maple sugaring, including how to recognize Maple trees, as well as how sap moves within trees and how it is collected and made into syrup.  Students then identified and tapped Maples on the Upper School Campus; the sap will be turned into syrup this spring.
