Jenny and Sandman Are the Pets of the Week

Meet some of the Baltimore Humane Society's adoptable pets.

Jenny:
If you are looking for a loving, kind easy going puppy with a beautiful soul then Jenny is the one! She will melt your heart at first sight! Jenny does have a disability, but she has adjusted well to her surroundings at her foster home the past 3 months. Jenny has a birth defect in her sacrum which is a part of her spine where nerves are located that make an animal walk. This deformity does not slow her down. She does walk with a waddle and cannot walk up and down steps at this time, but she does try! She will need a family willing to adapt to her disability and provide a little more extra care than a puppy without her type of disability. Jenny will be in her foster home until she is adopted. Her foster Mom is available to answer any questions you may have, if you are interested in visiting her, email our Adoption Center at animalcenter@bmorehumane.org.

Sandman:
Dreaming of adding an adorable feline to your family? Well, now your dreams can become reality when you meet me, Sandman! My siblings and I are currently looking for our forever home here at BHS! I’m known for being a sweet and social purr machine. I love to play with furry mice and catnip toys, and after I’m done playing I enjoy napping in a comfy cat bed. If I sound like the kitty of your dreams, come on down and meet me.
