Joe Flacco Talks Puppies, NFL Lockout (VIDEO)

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback and Dunkin' Donuts presented a $9,000 check to the Baltimore Humane Society Thursday, where Flacco sounded off on childhood pets and the NFL lockout.

Reisterstown-based got a visit from Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Joe Flacco Thursday.

Flacco, in partnership with , was there to donate $9,000 to the animal shelter. The money was raised during a promotion Dunkin' Donuts ran with Flacco that donated 50 cents of each travel mug sold to .

After presenting the check, Flacco reminisced about his childhood dog and discussed the Humane Society and the NFL lockout. (See our video sidebar.)

A U.S. District Judge deferred a ruling on whether the lockout, which owners started in March, violates federal antitrust law. Judge Susan Richard Nelson said she’d need two weeks to decide, The Wall Street Journal reported.
