Liberty Road Shooting Sends 1 Man To Hospital: Police

Police asked anyone in the area of the 8100 block of Liberty Road Friday night who saw or heard something to notify authorities.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a man was injured in a shooting Friday night on Liberty Road. Officials have not located a suspect, and anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the 8100 block of Liberty Road, police said.

The 26-year-old shooting victim was taken to an area hospital by his friend, according to officials.

He is being treated for a gunshot wound that he is expected to survive, police reported Saturday.

The suspect left the area on foot and has not been found.

Anyone who saw or heard anything or who may have information about the shooting or the suspect is asked to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.
