OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Despite 30 points and 19 rebounds by senior Erik Fisher, the Stevenson University (4-9, 2-2 MAC) men’s basketball team couldn’t complete a late rally, falling 65-59 to Albright College (5-7, 2-1 MAC) in MAC Commonwealth action Saturday afternoon at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
Fisher totaled a season high in the scoring column on 13-22 shooting and finished two points shy of his career high of 32 set last season in the ECAC championship game. His 19 rebounds are a career high, while Fisher posted his second straight double-double and fifth of the season. Fisher also now sits 19 points away from 1,000 for his career.
