Madeline Theresa Lucas, 100, of Reisterstown

Madeline Theresa Lucas, 100 years old of Reisterstown, died Friday, April 15, 2016, at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown.

Born Sept. 20, 1915, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edward Franey Sr. and Theresa Miller Franey. She was the wife of the late William Parker Lucas Sr. who died in 1983.

She is survived by her two sons: William P. Lucas Jr. and his wife Valerie Lucas, and Robert E. Lucas and his wife Beth Lucas; her brother Edward Franey; six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous additional family members.

She was predeceased by her three brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2016, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, at 11 a.m. Rev. Vivian McCarthy officiating. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
