Mala Making Workshop

Saturday, March 21 @ 10am - 1pm: Mala making workshop with Gyaltsen

A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, a mala is a most precious and meaningful object. Kelsang Gyaltsen, who is very skilled in many types of Buddhist art, will give instruction on how to make malas and will help you to make one of your own. You can choose your beads from Gyaltsen’s fabulous selection or bring some of your own. Everyone is welcome!

Cost: $25. $20 for students, seniors 60+, unemployed, and if registered by 3/18;
