Man Found Dead in Lansdowne: Baltimore County Police

Police said officers were asked to check on the man and found him dead.

Homicide detectives are investigating after finding a man dead in his residence in Lansdowne Tuesday afternoon, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

Police responded to a home in the 300 block of Third Avenue in Lansdowne after someone dialed 911 and stated that he hadn't had contact with the resident since last week and wanted police to check on him, according to the report.

At 3:27 p.m., Baltimore County officers arrived at the residence and found an older man with traumatic injuries who was declared dead at the scene, police said.
