Man Shot, Injured in Owings Mills: Police

OWINGS MILLS, MD – A man was shot and injured Tuesday night in Owings Mills, according to Baltimore County police.
Before midnight on Tuesday, the victim was "involved in an interaction" with someone in the 9200 block of Leigh Choice Court when the person showed a gun, police said.
When the victim tried to run away, he was shot at least once in the middle of the body.

Authorities say they are investigating whether the victim was targeted.
Later, the victim drove himself to a hospital, where officials reported Wednesday that he is expected to survive.
