Man Shot, Killed Near Windsor Mill: Police

Baltimore County police said the man was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

The Baltimore County Police Department said that its homicide unit was investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday morning near Liberty Road.

At 12:08 a.m. on Friday, police were called to the 3400 block of Barkley Woods Road in Windsor Mill for a reported shooting, according to the report from the Baltimore County Police Department.

Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the street less than half a mile away, in the 3600 block of Derby Shire Circle, the report said.

Police said the victim—Danard George Norris, 25, of the 3600 block of Derby Shire Circle—was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to determine a motive, what led to the shooting and whether the crime was targeted, according to police.
