MD 140 Reopens After Crash

REISTERSTOWN, MD — Delays cleared on MD 140 near the Baltimore-Carroll county line before midnight. Crash activity had caused major backups from the afternoon into the evening rush hour on both MD 140/Westminster Pike and Interstate 795.

Previous report: A crash has closed MD 140 at the Baltimore-Carroll county line Tuesday afternoon, officials say. The Maryland State Highway Administration reported the closure before 4 p.m.

Ramps from Interstate 795 at MD 140/Westminster Pike were also closed, officials said around 4:30 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash in the area near MD 140 at Glen Falls Road, transportation officials said. The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. and completely shut down MD 140.
