A luxury apartment building with bottom floor retail is expected to open in the spring along with a building housing the Baltimore County Public Library's largest branch and the Community College of Baltimore County.

The Metro Centre at Owings Mills is nearing the spring opening of three buildings that will include apartments, retail, a library and community college branch.

The first of two luxury apartment buildings with ground floor retail space has been ‘topped off’ and a second building will follow in a couple of weeks, according to a press release.

The two five-story buildings together feature 56,000 square feet of ground level retail space and 232 apartment homes. The buildings sit along the Metro Centre’s main street, Grand Central Avenue.
