MIND OVER MACHINES NAMES SITTON TO BE DIRECTOR OF CONSULTING SERVICES

Software and data consulting firm Mind Over Machines has promoted Dustin Sitton to Director of Consulting Services.

In his new role, Sitton will lead the Mind Over Machines consulting practice, providing application development services, data solutions, and strategic IT consulting, according to Founder and CEO Tom Loveland.

“Dustin brings over 17 years of IT consulting experience, including an extensive background in web-based and cloud solutions, SharePoint, enterprise software integration, and database design and development,” notes Loveland. “In addition, he is a skilled writer and accomplished communicator who regularly leads sales calls, development teams, contract and requirements documentation, and developer mentoring initiatives.”

Notable accomplishments include: development of a line of business applications to supply fund managers at a global investment firm with real-time market data and research; in-depth analysis of mission-critical systems for a national medical monitoring provider; development of multiple cutting edge applications in cloud computing environments such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, and design and development of enterprise scale SharePoint deployments.

Sitton previously served as a Senior Microsoft Architect with Mind Over Machines and The Seva Group, a business and technology consulting firm acquired by Mind Over Machines in December 2012. Together, Mind Over Machines and Seva formed one of the largest IT consulting firms in the Mid-Atlantic.

Prior to joining Seva in February 2006, Sitton was a Software Developer at several Mid-Atlantic IT firms, including Network Management Resources, Agentsmith, the Logistics Management Institute, and Advanced Technologies Support Group.
