9 People Missing In Maryland: Have You Seen Them?

Eight children and one 83-year-old have been reported missing in Maryland recently.

MARYLAND — Several people are missing in Maryland. We are hoping you can help bring them home. Eight of them are juveniles, the youngest of whom is 10 years old.

Turon and Jakai Stansbury were last seen at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, in Windsor Mill. Turon, 12, was wearing a black hoodie with blue pants and was carrying a gray bag. He is 5-feet-7-inches tall and 108 pounds. Jakai, 10, was wearing a gray shirt with blue pants and carrying a multicolored bag. Jakai suffers from a disability and is described as 4-feet-4-inches tall and 98 pounds. They may have extra clothes. Call 911 with information.

Peggy Barber, 13, is missing from Prince George's County. She was last seen at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, in the 10000 block of Kitchener Court near Bowie. She's described as 5-feet-6-inches tall and 145 pounds. When she disappeared, Barber was wearing a black shirt with green letters, gray sweatpants and black shoes. Melverline Bing, 83, was last seen around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, in Silver Spring. Her family saw her walk away from home in the 8800 block of Colesville Road. Since then, relatives have been unable to reach the woman, who may also go by the name "Nettie." She is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall and 125 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. When she disappeared, she had on a red beanie hat and was carrying a backpack with red straps. She was also wearing a full-length brown coat with a shirt that had a pin on it saying the words "Jesus Christ" accompanied by black pants and white tennis shoes. Roni Diggs, 13, of Gaithersburg was last seen by family on Tuesday, Jan. 7. She walked away from her home on Quince Orchard Boulevard. She has a nose ring and pierced ears and is described as about 5-feet-1-inch tall and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Johnathan Cruz, 15, is missing from Aspen Hill, police reported Tuesday. Cruz, who lives on Postgate Terrace, is about 5-feet-5-inches tall and 150 pounds with pierced ears, black hair and brown eyes. Modeana Pearl Brown, 14, was last seen Monday, Dec. 23, in Owings Mills. She was leaving the area of the 100 block of Willow Bend Drive. She is described as 5-feet-1-inch tall and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.

Charis Childs, 16, was last seen in Silver Spring on Monday, Dec. 16. She has a tattoo that says "ART" on her left wrist and wears glasses. When she disappeared, she was wearing a calf-length tan coat and carrying a black tote bag. She's described as 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Sandy Salvador-Aguilar, 16, has been missing for a month. Police said she was last seen Thursday, Dec. 12, in the 2000 block of North Charles Street in Baltimore. She is described as 4-feet-10-inches tall and 110 pounds and may be wearing a red coat. Call detectives at the Northern District of the Baltimore Police Department at 410-396-2455.
