More Postseason Honors for SU Soccer

The postseason honors keep rolling in for 's women's soccer team, as Stephanie Eyler and Taylor Zimmerman earned all-region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, a university statement said.

Eyler, a senior, was named to the first team following a season in which she scored 13 goals and became the Capital Athletic Conference and Mustangs all-time leading goals scorer, with 63.

The forward also earned second team honors for the NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region in 2009.

Zimmerman, a junior defender, earned her second-straight third team honor after anchoring a defense that allowed just 18 goals in 23 games in 2011.
