Motorcyclist Dies In Owings Mills Area Crash: Police

A second driver was injured after collision on McDonogh Road, police said.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — A man died in a crash in Owings Mills on Monday night, police said.

Brandon Durell Holmes, 30, of the 6000 block of Burnt Oak Road in Catonsville, was riding a motorcycle before 8 p.m. when his bike collided with a Toyota 4Runner in the area of McDonogh Road and Winands Road, according to officials.

Holmes was taken to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The 42-year-old woman who had been driving the 4Runner was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

The 4Runner had been heading the other direction and was making a left turn, according to officials.

The crash team from Baltimore County crash team is investigating.
