Mustang Retail Store Furthers Stevenson's Football Program Preparations
A store boasting all things Mustang merchandise is set to open across from the university's new football stadium.

Another piece of 's football puzzle has fallen into place in preparation for its Division III program.
A new university retail store will set up across from the school's athletic complex in Owings Mills in the Boulevard Corporate Center. The 2,900-square-foot shop will be located where once was, or the corner slot of the business plaza. It will offer merchandise, logo wear, books, supplies and other items, according to a university press release.
The news comes just after at Stevenson, which will be led by Mark Lorz, director of Westminster High's band and orchestra. The 3,500-seat stadium for the Mustang's first home game of the season against Christopher Newport at 7 p.m. Sept. 10.

Stevenson University boasts about 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students who live on or commute to its Owings Mills campus. It hopes the store will appeal to them as well as the greater Mustang sports audiences of soccer, field hockey and lacrosse, according to the release.
