Walmart Stores In 3 States No Longer Open 24 Hours
The store on Liberty Road is one of 40 across the three states that is reducing overnight hours.

Walmart is reducing overnight hours at 40 stores this week across the country. Nine stores are in Maryland, while the others are in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Here’s the list of Walmart locations that will no longer be open 24 hours in Maryland, according to Walmart spokesman Brian Nick::
- Arbutus: 3601 Washington Boulevard
- Baltimore - Golden Ring: 6420 Petrie Way Road
- Randallstown: 8730 Liberty Road
- Glen Burnie: 6721 Chesapeake Center Drive
- Laurel: 3549 Russet Green
- Severn: 407 George Claus Boulevard
- Germantown: 20910 Frederick Road
- Frederick: 1811 Monocacy Boulevard
- Hagerstown: 17850 Garland Groh Boulevard
Stores will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight daily as of July 27, Nick told Patch.

Walmart is making the change after reviewing the patterers of shoppers on a store-by-store basis, according to Bloomberg.
The company tested the schedule change this spring in more than 20 locations in the west, Nick told Patch.

“There will be additional stores that adjust hours in the future,” he said.
While the businesses are closed between midnight and 6 a.m., employees can restock shelves and take inventory, The Daily Journal reported.
