Owings Mills Carjacking, Reisterstown Shopping Center Burglarized: Police Blotter

Delivery driver assaulted for food, two businesses robbed at gunpoint and other crimes were reported recently in the Franklin precinct.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

A door and window were broken at a home in the 11800 block of Maren Court in Reisterstown. Police responded to the residence after the alarm went off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. Despite the break-in, nothing had been taken in the burglary.

Someone went into an Owings Mills store in the 3700 block of Crondall Lane with a gun, then demanded cigarettes and cash. The armed robbery was reported at 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.

A man was arrested after allegedly forcing his way into an acquaintance's bedroom and damaging property. The burglary in the unit block of Fennington Circle in Owings Mills occurred at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Cash was stolen from a business in the 10500 block of Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills after multiple suspects damaged a door to get inside. The business was burglarized at 2:35 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.

Three juveniles were arrested after allegedly breaking into several businesses in the Cherry Valley Shopping Center and taking money. The commercial burglaries in the 11700 block of Reisterstown Road were reported around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, and the suspects were later taken into custody.

Three armed individuals threatened someone between 2 and 2:30 p..m. on Thursday, Oct. 27. The victim was in the 10800 block of Reisterstown Road when two suspects approached with guns and a third with a knife. The victim ran away.

There was a carjacking in the 10100 block of Reisterstown Road reported at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27. A woman was in her vehicle when someone got into the passenger side of the car, grabbed her and told her to get out. When she exited, three other suspects entered the vehicle and drove away.

Electronics were stolen in a residential burglary in the 500 block of Glen Granite Road sometime between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Five strangers assaulted a building employee in the unit block of Enchanted Hills Road. The suspects took the victim's phone in the robbery, which occurred at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

A food delivery driver was assaulted in the 100 block of Enchanted Hills Road at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24. The two suspects stole food from the worker in the robbery.

Multiple suspects assaulted a man and tried to take his cell phone in the 9700 block of Groffs Mill Drive. They took the victim's belt in the robbery at 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24.

A store in the 500 block of Main Street in Reisterstown was robbed at gunpoint at 2:45 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24. The suspect walked in, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cigarettes.

Personal items were stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of Valley Meadow Circle. The suspect knew the victim. The burglary happened between 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, and 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24.

An armed robbery attempt was foiled when a gun malfunctioned in the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road. Armed with a handgun, the suspect tried to rob someone at 4:36 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22. When the victim tried to grab the gun, the suspected attempted to fire but the gun would not work.

Two strangers unsuccessfully tried to get into a business in the 11700 block of Reisterstown Road at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

A robber grabbed a cell phone from someone's hand, assaulted the individual and stole cash from the victim's pocket in the 12000 block of Reisterstown Road around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The suspect ran away.

A suspect assaulted an acquaintance in the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road at 9:40 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17.
