Owings Mills Man Arrested In Nebraska for 25 lbs. of Pot

A traffic stop in Nebraska this weekend resulted in drugs and weapons charges for an Owings Mills man.

An Owings Mills man is scheduled to make his first court appearance March 30 to respond to charges that he had 25 pounds of marijuana and a handgun in his car.

The Nebraska State Patrol stopped a vehicle Robert Z. Judge, 31, was driving Sunday along Interstate 80 near Kearney, Neb., for license plate obstruction.

The officer's police dog detected a drug odor, which lead to a search of the pickup. Police said they found the marijuana in a bag in the truck's cab and the gun in the glove box.

Michael L. Fedorko, 33, of Falling Waters, W. Va., was a passenger in the vehicle and also arrested. Both were taken to the Buffalo County Detention Center in Kearney, according to a Nebraska State Patrol press release.

Judge is still in jail and needs $50,000 to make bail, or 10 percent of his $500,000 bond. His charges are intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a weapon by a felon, police said.

Judge is due in front of a judge at 2:30 p.m. on March 30 at the Buffalo County Courthouse in Kearney, Neb. He could then be released in Nebraska, depending on what the judge rules, police said.
