Owings Mills Man Dies In Custody: Police
Police said a man went into cardiac arrest after becoming combative with officers Tuesday night in Owings Mills.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — An Owings Mills man died after being Tased by an officer, police said.
Officials said they had been called to a home at 11:18 p.m. for an injured person but when they tried to help him, his demeanor changed suddenly, and he became combative.
An officer used a Taser to subdue Gamel Antonio Brown, 30, of the unit block of Gwynnswood Road, according to police.

Officials said Brown was taken to a hospital, where he went into cardiac arrest and died.
Police said more information would be released as the investigation progresses.
