Owings Mills Man Dies In Florida Keys
Officials said an Owings Mills died in Florida when he fell from the stern of a boat while walking his dog.
An Owings Mills man was found dead in the Florida Keys Thursday morning, according to law enforcement officials there. He fell off a boat that was docked in one of the slips at Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina.
Bruce Alan Lohr, 64, of Owings Mills, was reported missing around midnight, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Monroe County includes the Florida keys.
The Coast Guard discovered Lohr's body about 100 feet east of the docks at the Postcard Inn in the 84000 block of Overseas Highway around 1 a.m. on Thursday, March 7.

Lohr's girlfriend told authorities that he went to walk the dog when he fell off the stern of the boat. Officials said she was able to get the dog out of the water but could not locate Lohr. The couple had been drinking, according to the sheriff's office.
Someone on a neighboring boat heard her yelling for help and called 911, which prompted the emergency response.

Investigators said that based on the investigation so far, there had not been any arguments that evening involving the couple, and there were no signs of foul play. The investigation is ongoing.
