Owings Mills Man Killed In Columbia Mall Parking Lot: Police

COLUMBIA, MD — An Owings Mills man was shot and killed outside the Mall in Columbia Friday night, police said.

Anthony Patterson, 20, of Owings Mills, was shot at 10:23 p.m. outside the Main Event in the parking area in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia.

Police said the suspect left quickly and has not been identified. There is a reward of up to $5,000 in the case.

Patterson and the shooter got into an argument before he was shot, according to investigators, who do not think the two knew one another.

Nobody else was injured, according to authorities, who said there was no threat to the area. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots.
