Owings Mills, Reisterstown Under Winter Weather Advisory

A mix of freezing rain and snow is possible, according to National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Owings Mills and Reisterstown from 9 p.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday.

A winter weather advisory means that snow, sleet or freezing rain may make travel conditions hazardous, the weather service reported.

Rain is in the forecast for Owings Mills and Reisterstown on Tuesday, followed by a chance of snow showers Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Roads in parts of Baltimore County—particularly in Reisterstown, Parkton and Cockeysville—may be covered by a “glaze of ice” and up to one-half inch of snow Tuesday morning, according to the winter weather advisory.

The advisory applies to Baltimore, Carroll and Harford counties.
