OWINGS MILLS, MD—As of 8 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Maryland has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought up to 32 inches of snow to towns across Baltimore County.
No travel ban was issued for Owings Mills throughout the storm, but Governor Larry Hogan is still urging residents to stay off the roads while crews get to work.

We asked Patch readers in Owings Mills how they felt about the plowing done on their block. Here’s what they said:
- “No and here’s why. It is normal for county plows to come clear the county street we live on. Because of the inconsiderate Brookshire Condominiums Tenants who are parked on both side of the county street on Coliston Rd, Benwell Rd, Candytuft and who knows where else county roads, the plows did not come. Now this has been an issue with those quads tenants for the pass three years.”
- “Plowing? No. However, our street (Norwich Court) is passable thanks to all of our neighbors using their snowblowers to clear a path wide enough for a car to pass.”
- “I am grateful for all of the good people who have been working nonstop since Friday doing the best they can to clear what they have...it’s going to take time and patience.”
- “Ours was dug out first thing this morning. Great job!”
- “They did great!!”
- “They haven’t been down our street yet.”
- “No, we are still waiting for snow plows.”
