Don Mohler, chief of staff to County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, that the bidding process for a new developer is in "the home stretch." It could be done in a few weeks, and construction could begin as early as this fall, he said. 

It's been a decades-old project in the making. Here's a buzz-builder: a sneak peek at what's to come. The document contains schematics of all six floors of the proposed building, from the computer, allied health and corporate training classrooms to the book shelves and café.
