Pedestrian Injured In Owings Mills Walmart Parking Lot Crash: Police
Police said a woman was flown for treatment after a crash in the parking lot of the Owings Mills store.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — A pedestrian was airlifted after she was hit Sunday night by a vehicle in an Owings Mills parking lot, police reported.
The collision happened in the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road in front of Walmart, according to officials.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz hit a 2014 Nissan Sentra in the parking lot, causing minor damage, police said.

Then the Chevrolet hit a woman who was walking before the vehicle careened into the front of the store at a high rate of speed, according to police.
The driver of the Cruz may have experienced a medical emergency and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, officials reported.

Police said the pedestrian, flung several feet after she was hit, was seriously injured and transported by medevac. The Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company, which assisted at the scene, said she was taken to a trauma center.
