Pedestrian Dies After Crash Near Randallstown
A woman died after she was hit by a car while crossing the street near Northwest Hospital, police reported.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — Police say a pedestrian died after stepping off a curb in Randallstown this week. The crash happened Wednesday night, and the pedestrian was pronounced deceased Thursday evening, according to officials.
Regina Diane Howard, 57, of the 3400 block of Barry Paul Road, was hit by a car while trying to cross Barry Paul Road at 8:44 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
A Honda Accord was turning from Old Court Road onto Barry Paul Road when it hit her, authorities reported, and the driver remained at the scene.

Howard was taken in critical condition to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where she was pronounced deceased Thursday night, police reported.
While the investigation is continuing, officials said neither the pedestrian nor the driver was impaired.
